Introduction and Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to Shine On Exteriors LLC! These Terms and Conditions ('Terms') govern the provision of softwashing and pressure washing services ('Services') by Shine On Exteriors LLC ('we,' 'us,' or 'our') to you, the client ('you' or 'customer'). By booking or accepting our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before engaging our services. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not proceed with our Services.
Services Provided
We provide professional soft washing and pressure washing services for residential and commercial properties, including but not limited to, exterior siding, roofs, driveways, sidewalks, decks, fences, and patios. Specific services to be performed will be detailed in your individualized quote or service agreement.
Quotes and Pricing
All quotes provided by Shine On Exteriors are based on the information provided by the client and an initial assessment of the property. Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issuance. The final price may vary if additional services are requested, if the scope of work changes significantly, or if unforeseen circumstances arise during the service. Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
Client Responsibilities
Access & Utilities
The client must ensure clear and unobstructed access to all areas to be serviced, including water spigots and electrical outlets (if needed). We are not responsible for moving furniture, potted plants, or other obstacles. Please ensure all windows and doors are securely closed and locked.
Property Preparation
The client is responsible for removing all delicate items, breakables, and personal belongings from the work area. This includes securing pets indoors. While we take utmost care, we are not liable for damage to items not removed from the work area.
Water/Electricity
The client must provide access to a working outdoor water spigot and, if necessary, an electrical outlet. Any additional costs incurred due to lack of access or non-functional utilities will be charged to the client.
Disclosure of Issues
The client must disclose any known pre-existing damage, fragile areas, or issues with the property that may affect our ability to safely and effectively perform the services (e.g., loose siding, rotted wood, failing seals on windows, or recently applied sealants/stains).
Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitations of Liability
No Guarantees
While we strive for excellent results, we do not guarantee the complete removal of all stains, discoloration, or foreign substances, especially those that have deeply penetrated surfaces or are a result of long-term neglect. Results may vary depending on the age and condition of the surface.
Pre-Existing Damage
We are not responsible for any pre-existing damage to your property. By engaging our services, you acknowledge that we have no liability for damage that was present before our service began, or damage that occurs due to underlying structural issues or defects in your property.
Potential for Damage
While we use professional techniques and take reasonable precautions, there is an inherent risk of damage to certain delicate or improperly maintained surfaces during pressure washing or softwashing. This includes, but is not limited to, damage to screens, paint, seals, wood, or landscaping. By accepting our services, you assume these risks.
Limitations of Liability
In the unlikely event of damage caused directly by our negligence, our liability shall be limited to the cost of repairing the damaged area or, at our discretion, a refund for the portion of the service directly related to the damage. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Scheduling and Cancellations
We will make every effort to adhere to scheduled service times. However, unforeseen circumstances such as weather conditions, equipment malfunction, or previous job delays may necessitate rescheduling. We will inform you as soon as possible of any changes. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours' notice. Failure to do so may result in a cancellation fee of 10% of the service cost.
Complaints and Disputes
If you are not satisfied with our services, you must notify us within 3 days of service completion. We will promptly investigate your concerns and, if deemed appropriate, we will make reasonable efforts to rectify the issue. Failure to notify us within the specified timeframe may waive your right to a remedy.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
Amendments
We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time by posting the updated Terms on our website or by providing you with direct notice. Your continued use of our Services after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
